    Vf22, Reworking Questions??

Hey guys, I just bought a brand new VF22 from WRXGUY on the forum. Im wanting to send it off to Deadbolt and have it ported, clipped, and put a bigger compressor wheel in it. Are there any downsides to having this done?? Also, id like to hear from anyone running this turbo on a similar setup (2.5l and Meth injection).

    Thanks,
    John

Sounds like you're doing all the right things. I think most people with 2.5s are going bigger, but for a daily driver your setup sounds pretty awesome.

Yeah im trying to stay reliable and streetable. Because after all, I drive it every day. I know there is a guy I talked to at the dyno day a while back that had a 2.5l wrx with this exact turbo setup that put down mid/high 300's with methanol...

That was me you talked to. Here is the dyno from that day.

It's all good but I have moved on to bigger and better things. Which unfortunately mean a touch more lag.
