I'd go except I have some prior engagements. We're having intitiation for the frat up in Tenn; Unfortunately, I've been booked for months prior . *sigh* You will be taking lots of pictures wont you Milo? :bigthumb: Also, if anyone wants handout cards, I still have a shit ton to give out. If you need some, let me know, and I will give them to Milo. In other news, the decals should be ordered by tonight. Except something like a 2 week turn around for them to be printed and cut. We're going with the original silver ones, but I am also getting a couple different samples (same design different size, different design all together, etc). I'll keep everyone posted. Milo is extremely correct. Show up and support WRXatlanta! This is a great opportunity for this club to emerge into the mainstream (more so than now), and really show that there is a place where Atlanta owners can come and chill and talk subaru. This event, if things go as planned, will be one of the most important for us, in terms of PR, for the year. If you have the time, or just feel like hanging out, this is going to be the one event you should attend. Not only will you be seeing those you know, you will get a chance to meet so many new people, talk about your experiences with your car, your future plans, your expeience with the club, and of course, get a tour of the warehouse. meeting time would depend on how far away we meet... i was thinking we meet a couple exits away from cobb pkwy... that should give us a couple miles of driving... we could meet farther away if everyone wants (eg. my apartment complex)... for any of these locations, 8am should be a good meeting time there will be a big caravan from cobb pkwy to the warehouse since we will be joining with the nasioc gang so... any suggestions on location?
we could always meet at the BP on north avenue... that will give us about 10 miles of caravan and its a pretty huge gas station that serves a bunch of stuff... interested?
I'm 2 exits up from Cobb Pkwy in Smyrna, so my place wouldn't give us much driving time. I'm fine meeting up at Milo's place...can't really think of a good place a few exits north/east... anyone else??!?!?
guess we coud also meet at perimeter mall and drive down 285 to get there... regardless of where we meet, we're gonna meet matt (2.5rs) at a starbucks at 9am so those who need their caffiene will get it eventually
actually Milo, the meeting place changed. I should have let y'all know. Instead of whording B&N's parking lot, I moved the meet to across the street from it where Sports Authority is as well as the new Circuit City. It's the HUGE parking lot behind Hooter's and Chick-Fil-A. So, there will still be the Starbucks in B&N, as well as Chick-Fil-A for morning stuffs, or you can stop at Starbucks before you get there. On my pre-meet thread, I edited the original post with the new address and whatnot, even though it's only across the street! See y'all there!! :bigthumb:
Hey you guys I dont post here much, but I am driving down from Clemson, SC for this, and if you guys are meeting on my way down, Ill stop by and cruise with yall if thats ok. I just joined wrx atlanta so I dont know any of you guys yet, but I would like to join u on your caravan. The rex needs some brakes, and one of my front mount clamps came loose, so if everything goes well friday night.. I like to attend.
im thinking the BP on north avenue... its a pretty big gas station and they have coffee and food... might be the best place... however, i dunno if theres gonna be room for ~15 cars... im gonna go by there tomorrow and talk to them... will post final details tomorrow
