Ok everyone, it's getting that time again. Where are we meeting this Wednesday for the g2g? People seem to want to switch it up. We do a LOT up north. Moose suggested somewhere out Eastand go somewhere new. I'm down for that. Any other ideas, suggestions? Ok, Looks like we're going to Frankie's on Roswell Rd: 5600 Roswell Road NE Atlanta, GA 30342 Mapquest and google maps both give adequate directions. Meeting time: 7:30pm park in the large parking lot next to the street.
Surprisingly, I don't know of anywhere in midtown that would be good, suggestions welcome. There's a place on the east side called App and Tapp (N. Decatur Rd and Scott Blvd) that is awesome, but parking is hard to come by there. Not very conducive to a meet unless we park caddy corner at the supermarket.
parking is definitely important to me... not comfortable leaving my car in a location where it might get booted or towed
Frankie's off Roswell Road is pretty convenient, just south of 285 on roswell road. They have a large packing lot and can seat large parties without issues. -- Brian

its funny, ive lived in atlanta since 98 and not once have i enjoyed the varsity... and then i see some people who really love it
personally varsity blows, but i'll go there if that's what populat opinion calls for. Summits is at " 3334 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, 30078 " if that helps. For reference, it's 22.5mi ENE of Tech/Midtown.
summits is only 15 miles for me. im voting for that. varsity is sooo good btw but yes it is just grease. "what ya have!?!" lol

lol, I don't think so. But the varsity is the most car friendly place to eat @ downtown that I can think of.

Simon is absolutely correct milo. Beer contains carbohydrates, the largest part of the food pyramid and no meal should be complete without it. So far it looks like Frankie's has taken the lead. We'll meet at 7:30 as usual. I'll take the official results tonight at 8ish and post directions for everyone to get there.

She is getting much better, and beat me 2/4 runs, but my best time was 1 second faster than her best run. We will see how the two events go next weekend.
