weird noise in reverse

    ..im getting this clicking noise when i reverse .. sounds like its coming from the back of the car.. any ideas?

    i've got the same thing. mine does it when i have the car in reverse gear but the clutch pedal is in and the car is just rolling backwards. maybe it's not quite the same thing. hasn't effected anything that i know of.

    sounds like a rear diff noise, not sure if its good or bad...

    Sorry, couldn't help it. Does it only make the noise when you acclerate in reverse? Say if you were in an inclined parking spot or backing down a driveway where gravity is doing the work does it make the noise?

    Sounds like the rear diff. You change the fluid lately?
