I just paid my last car payment! Cost me nearly 9 thousand bucks. Still it's nice to have that under the belt. bought the car less than a year ago. I put down a 10 grand down payment which made the monthlys rather low, saved up since Julyish and got it paid off this month with room to spare:)

Can't say I don't have my regrets though. If I hadn't have been so hasty I could have bought an STI, and looking back I wish I had. Granted the WRX is a fun car. Handles ok, has good power, reliable for the most part, and relatively rare around my parts. Still it does leave me wanting more. Mostly in the handling department, where I wish the limits of the car were higher. I know it can be fixed, I'm just not thrilled over spending the ton of money to get it under control.

Hate to say it, but should it ever get totaled I don't think I would get a WRX again. Maybe an STI, as it does fix a lot of my annoyances.

knock on wood that it doesn't happen, but you could always find an older coupe impreza and swap that motor into it....IF it gets totaled....I hope it doesn't ;)

    Wow. that's impressive.

You wouldn't have been able to get an STi wagon either.

I hear ya...I dont like WRXs. They take lots of $ and time to mod to make it how i like it. By that time...i should have just got an STi.

true the wagon does have its advantages. Mostly being it doesn't gather a lot of attention as I drive around. An Integra decided to ride along beside me for awhile, but I didn't bother to race them and thats about all the attention it gets.

    Thanks guys!

Now time to start planning out my suspension overhaul!:naughty:

it might not make sense to others, but the whole point of a WRX is to put money/effort to make it the way you want. And the sleeper side of the wrx is what is so appealing; you woudlnt believe how many people get surprised when they see the boost gauge and says, "you're turbocharaged?" LOL.

but nonetheless, STi is NICE. as a 19 yr old, if i had an sti, ppl would think i have rich parents, but if i have a wrx, well... ppl still think i have rich parents ahah.

so if i get an sti when i turn 20, that's totally acceptable right?
