Well, recently ive been thinking about what i want to do to my car next performance wise. Couple of ideas are headers, cams, and meth. However meth is last on my list...so i just wondered what else was out there that people get good gains with?

    Current mod list:

    GT30.11 turbo
    turboxs fmic
    PE 850 injectors
    walbro 255
    injen short ram intake
    turbo xs recirculating blowoff
turbo xs 4 inch downpipe with 3 inch turboback
    perrin 3 inch turbo inlet.

Also i'd like to get retuned pretty soon...car was tuned previously around 17.5 lbs. Ive been to turn it up, but what would be a good boost level on pump gas?

Move meth to the front of the list immediately followed by getting tuned.

The time to do the cams was when the motor out of the car. You'd have to pull it again to do them.

I have to agree with Mike wait till you have the engine out to mess with heads/cams. Meth you can just run a non meth map...Maybe an additional hr of tuning but worth it if you go through it. I never have had to worry about it as I keep 10Gals on hand. I would think the header and meth should get you easily 60+ to the wheels for less than a grand w/tuning where as the heads will surely dwarf that figure.

In addition to above, you could try ditching the short ram and replacing it with your stock airbox or a cold(er) air intake.

Not to sound like Will or anything. :)

he is running a larger turbo, and a significant more power than stock....the stock airbox would hold him back with his goals....

Bump the boost up, 17.5 psi is nothing for a turbo of that size. Meth would be good if you want to deal with the ups and downs of it.

Lightweight flywheel OR lightweight crank pulley will also free up some HP but dont run both at the same time.

yeah, i need to crank up the boost and retune the car. It does have a lightened flywheel and lightweight crank pulley, which is causing a misfire i believe. Need to swap that pulley out.
