So, I just called comcast to bitch about one of my normal channels not being 'authorized'...... As I was talking to the girl, who sounded hot, I asked what specials they have.... 12 months FREE HBO....YES PLEASE!!! Just wanted to pass that along to everyone else...If you don't have HBO and have comcast, call them and get it for the next year, FREE!!
It may just be a direct TV thing cause even when I was in Fla it when it rained Id lose a picture. But I have a cousin who has Comcast and the same tv that I do and the hd channels look more grainy imo
You've got to have insane eye sight to say that the comcast hd channels look grainy! Not a fan of digital satellite, had it for years back in England and any time it was hard rain you'ld be fucked.
I hate Comcast, I bought a HD Tivo November 1st, and called Comcast to get the Cable Cards for it, the quickest they can come out is November 28. They seriously need some real competition.
sound about like the atlanta area comcast, they did that to us when i was still living at my moms. it would take then at least 2 to 3 weeks to get out there. but since i moves out of the metro area they will be there like the next day to fix it. especially when the landscapers cut our cable line they were out monday morening bright and early to fix it, it just sucked having no internet or tv all weekend. the best thing to do is just go to the store and do it yourself, I had to do that with my internet cause the guy didnt bring a modem with him to the house.
I hate comcast, I pay for the extra HD channels since I have a plasma flat screen at the house and they suck. Not to mention they are always screwed up or not working. I can't count how many times the HD channels are all grainy and digitized. F-them if there was some other provider for my area I would have switched long time ago.
I'm also a victim of the Comcast Monopoly... Let see, apartment with no place to put a dish.. I can use Comcast, Comcast or.. Comcast $50 for basic fucking cable. I would likes some free HBO so someone confirm this b4 I waste any time on the phone........
I am waiting for Verizon Fios to come my way so I can switch to a dish of some sort and Fios for internet...
You guys are lucky to have this fast of internet, back in cali comcast cable was about half the speed and the rest of the dsl company's had like max 3mb download speeds. I get insane speeds, when i 1st got here i was dling all kinds of stuff. Im also really close to a server and i have a high end modem.
If you have comcast, then there's no way that's accurate btw I dont care if the server is inside your house on your local network.
Apartment complexes can not legally tell you you can't put a dish up. There are plenty of apartments who have a dish. As long as it doesn't damage the roof (how can it), you're golden....
Not just any gamer a Professional Gamer and alex yes that is accurate, that was a dispute from a counter-strike match i downloaded it in less then 2 seconds. The host was a server company so it had a pretty fast upload.
