It depends on the dyno... but generally you see around 160-170 for an 04-05 WRX I think. You would not be well served by a front mount if using the stock turbo.

No gains from FMIC, you'll only get a slower spool time. Yea best bang for the buck would either be AP, or upipe for 04-05 WRXs. STi's dont need the upipe because its already catless so maybe AP or downpipe for them.

just get a turbo back exhaust (which includes the downpipe portion). and then get some kind of EM whether it be a cobb or openecu reflash or something.

Yeah, Cobb Stage 2 is a lot of fun. Stock is 169 whp Stage 2 is 225 whp like moose said. Buy everything used, thats the best bang for the buck.

130 for 2.5 RS, 165 for WRX and about 270 for the STi.

No gains to be had from a FMIC unless you big turbo and other supporting modifications.

^^^ the Sti should be closer to 230. (270 would be an insanely good 10% drivetrain loss vs. 25% for the WRX).

Ive seen more STi's around the 265 to 275 numbers...atleast, on a DYNOJET dyno.

Others, like the DynoDynamics (IIRC) or the Mustang, all numbers are considerably MUCH MUCH lower.
