Ok so now I'm starting to really want a WRX wing for my ride. Does anybody have any ideas for me? I certainly don't want to order a whole new OEM wing because of the price. And I'm drawing a blank on decently priced pieces on the internet. Plus I've heard that the wing you can order from Subaru doesn't even come with the brake light kit. So... that sucks.

i wanted to go wingless and my trunk is debaged and flawless and you never responded to me..... too late now though i bought milos wing risers instead since noone ever gave me and info about them wanting a wing.

True. I just don't like the idea of having the third brake on the back dash and the one in the spoiler. I've been trying to think of a way to just make a little cover or insert to go in the place of the current brake light. I just want it to look clean. :dunno:
could you cut a piece of abs plastic to cover it? your talkign about the one in the rear window right?

You can very easily remove the Third Brake Light entirely from the Back dash. I know the 06 STI doesn't have the 3rd brake light, so there may be some Subaru Plate you can get to cover the hole, or you could, remove the Bulb from the Third brake light, or cover it with something so light does not shine thru.
True. I thought about just taking the housing out and putting some kind of little plate or cover there. There is a whole other dash that goes in some cars, STI's and WRX Limiteds I think but that would be a bit expensive to buy. Maybe I can find one from a salvaged car. I'll probably just take the bulb for the temporary solution.
damn if i knew color didnt matter i could of brought my wing with me and sold it yesterday maybe....lol....cause again i keep stubbing my toe on it.
