In my attempt to be more active in this community like the good old days, I want to propose a meet up at US PLAY in Kennesaw. I'd like to do this to not interfere with Matt's Tuesday night meets so I propose either Tuesday April 12th or Wednesday April 13th. Tuesday nights are $2 specials= $2 per game, shoe rental, and drafts. Wednesday is College night starting at 9:3O- $5 coverage covers for 21+, $10 for under 21 for shoe and unlimited games as well as drink specials. So which night would you guys prefer? 2 weeks notice should be plenty to get a decent turnout.
Yea I go to school In Marietta, so I could swing by after class, but if I didn't have class, it would be out of the way from where I live.
Not sure about how busy they are, but if I get a Headcount I could have Jason reserve a couple of lanes for us
Tuesdays are not that busy. Wednesdays are a little more fun being "college night" and a live DJ and all. but $2 drafts on Tue may be the way to go. Im in.....either day.
you might not have a choice, having to work. lol these were the ish back in the day. hell, its how i became a member of this board and met all my good friends up there. $2 tuesdays are the best in my opinion. just do it on the opposing tuesdays of matt's meets. and i could be wrong since its been so long, but aren't pizza slices $2 as well? thought it was $2 games, shoes, drafts, well liqour drinks (well was jim beam, mmmm), and pizza slices back in the day.

I might be able to go. My schedule these past 2 weeks have been switched around pretty extremely, so my days are open.
wish I didn't leave for work at 5am. Hard to go have some real fun and still make it to work and be somewhat productive. Pick a day and I will try to swing by as I will have to show off the coupe. She is getting a full body makeover.
haha the last 3 semesters...crawling with chicks..i dont know what they major in cause there is never any in my classes but theres definately a bunch of distractions walkin around campus. ime down for wednesdays at us play
I think I already mentioned this in a previous post, but the buffalo wild wings down the road from us play has wing Tuesdays. Like 45 or 50 cents a wing. Some cheap grub before us play since it's not even a mile down the road.
Yes, that would be good too. Just to be clear- Wednesday nights is $5 to get in the door. So anybody that doesn't want to bowl, or whatever, still has to pay $5 to hang out.
Wild Wings is usually packed on those Tuesdays. Someone would have to get there early to put us on the waiting list.. The few times I went there on a Tuesday, I had a decent wait time before being seated.
buffalo wild wings is different from Wild Wing Cafe. Wild Wing Cafe will not seat you on a Tuesday unless your entire party is there.
WTF is it a club? We had my son's b-day party there a year ago. NM I guess this is how Jason gets all his play money.
I seriously think the college kids are uninformed, because Tuesday's are the better deal, IMO. I mean think about it, for $20 you could bowl 4 games and have 5 beers. Or 3 games and have 6 beers. That's a steal.
It actually hasn't been as busy lately. I used to go every Tuesday and always had to wait but I've been a few times recently and got a table straight away. Always around 9 o'clock though. But It'll prolly get busier once the spring weather sets in
The $5 covers shoes and unlimited bowling. Wednesday seems like the netter deal for those that want to partake in the games there. But for someone just wanting to hang out it sucks paying to get in.
gotcha they can afford to do unlimited bowling, cuz i know at the bowling alley i used to work at, people would bowl like 2 games and leave. with big groups its difficult to get many more than 2-3 games in, in under a couple hours. think of it like an all you can eat buffet. sure there are a few people who will really get their money's worth, but they are the minority. wednesdays is probably focused on the underaged (college) crowds i would guess then. for those of age (and planning to drink) tuesdays make more sense.
so is this a yes for the meet at US play tuesday? because I can come and hang out and get to know every1 once i get off.
