Took the plunge...head first

    Well, I traded in the WRX this evening at SOG and purchased a 2006 Steel Gray STI. I know I will miss my WRX a bunch...it was a blast driving and modding it for the past 3 years. BUT, I know this STI is going to make me smile from ear to ear...although it certainly hasn't hit me that I have something new in the garage. :)

    The 30 mile ride home this evening was a blast! It's been a long day after work and all the signatures at the dealership, but it's so worth it. I only snapped a few pictures from inside the garage. Enjoy.

    I hope my old baby finds a nice home...somebody go to SOG and buy it! Need sleep...later!

    nice man...congrats on your new edition! i know how you feel about trading in your WRX. i traded my SRT last week for a Tacoma, and i happend to see it at the dealership in the used section and i was sad to see it sitting there. again, congrats man!

    dude, that is the hottest color that has ever been painted on a subaru. I envy you my man. Congrats enjoy the crap out of that thing.

    Thanks guys! I couldn't sleep last night thinking about it sitting in the garage. :) Sitting in traffic this morning, just seemed more enjoyable. :D I think I'm in love.

    Congrats on the new car! I just bought my 06' a month ago.. Allready put tint, a front lip is coming today, and an STI plate to cover the holes in the front bumper... Decided to make it cash only for mods(no credit:)) so it'll be slower than my bugeye to get it done...

    Let the mods begin!!!!

    Thanks man...the color is insane...I couldn't get it out of my mind when I left on Saturday after checking it out. :bowdown: But, honestly, the black is the hottest thing when it's clean...my problem...I didn't have a lot of patience trying to keep up with the swirl marks and all the other joys of owning a black car.

    Oops. Sorry man. ;) Ha, honestly, it all happened pretty quickly...go in for an oil change on Saturday, walk out with an STI on Monday evening. WTF.

    After our chat this morning, I'm liking the mod ideas...going to hold back for a little. :D Wait...I've had the car for less than 24 hours and the man is already trying to get me to buy more stuff!!! Unbelievable... ;)

    Geez...I've been registered for a while! In fact, I was registered in the '03 WRX before I got the STi last week and had to update my registration...for your information! Ha ha! :p
