I'm happy with #7. Only five spots to move up. OSU plays Tejas early, Oklahoma lost their starting QB, and I'm not sold on ND. There are always a few teams overrated in the preseason poll, and some underrated. Alot can happen in camp too, with injuries. Looking forward to this season, glad it's finally here! This is my favorite time of the year! Football Season!!
thats right the sec has 6 ranked teams!! man brett we are right next to each other! good luck this season. damn i just saw flordia state has to open against miami again. sux for you.
How did USC and Texas manage to stay in the top 3 while losing Vince Young, Reggie Bush, and Matt Lienart??? Go Gators!
Man....MD and AF aren't even in the rankings...I hope that they get in there eventually...LOL... Mark
Yeah man! Good luck to you as well this season! If the BE ever does die, i sure as hell hope that another conference will extend an invite. (i pray that it would be the SEC, THE best conference IMO) We are carrying the BE right now. Thou it's nice having UofL at 13, they still haven't got the job done. Well, the fridge has a lot of work to do at Maryland... Some people are questioning his coaching genius status (as do i). I'll be at the UM - WVU game this year! Pretty sure they are going off of the deep talent on those two teams. *also i edited my original post. added Others receiving votes.*
I have actually met Coach Friedgen back in 03 at a SEC/ACC Dinner in Atlanta. He is very cool. I am hoping that things get better for him. I am sure that the WVU/Maryland game will be a good one. You remember that we had a guy in our HS who was class of 1980?. It was Tim Agee who was a CB for WVU. He has also been in movies...check out www.imdb.com. He did a bit part in that cop movie with Martin Lawrence. Mark
UF has THE hardest schedule in the SEC (the most top25 teams). They play: #23 UT, #14 UGA, #6 Auburn, #24 Alabama, #9 LSU, South Carolina, and #10 FSU. The only thing that would make it harder is if they had to play themselves! :naughty:
I did not realize we had you on the schedule again. My brother went to UF for a while. I grew up in FL and thought I would have ended up there. I would have had to start the summer out of HS and that was not happening. I would have never gone to FSU. Andy
Well at least we're an unranked team playing the number 3 for the first game of the season. We usually do pretty well our first game of the season...so maybe it'll be a good game Haha all I can think of is the final game in Rudy...
Fuck Ohio State, they will be good until their star players get arrested or suspended. I think they will beat Texas pretty handily though, I think Texas is a pretty weak team without Young.
This weekend will be awesome! We're having a Corey Smith concert friday, then College Gameday Saturday! Wait that's right, last year Tech beat Clemson & Auburn! :wiggle: It's too bad they play down to a bad team's level and choke. :squint: Craig
