sunday's bad for me... what about friday, i'm coming to ATL on friday? you probably work. if not, no worries, i may just dive in on saturday by myself

 

kris... if ur free, maybe we could do the fuel pump and spark plugs

I am getting an uppipe and downpipe. I am too poor to have it professionally installed. I can provide lunch. It will be BYOB though if you want it. I can drive down to you. I will have steering rack bushings to install too.


So does anyone around here wanna give me a hand doing this? I know there has to be more than me that needs stuff installed.

Sunday is the only day i can do anything till May 7th. I have 3 6 day weeks comming and this weekend is already planned(gotta do oil change and such to mine and my GF's car).

Here is my full list of things I would like to get done but I don't have to do it all.

up/dp
boost gauge
EGT gauge(electric)
steering rack bushings

I can install the boost myself but I have the Autometer bezel so they both need to go in or its a real pain to back track.

Is that too much stuff for one day? The gauges can be delayed. i am gonna have the uppipe prepped for the EGT probe before the install day so it will be mostly running the wiring.

I will provide extra cash for extra food and beer if we can get it all done.

 

im flexible on weekends..doesnt matter to me..i would prefer this sunday but again it doesnt really matter

 

I may be able to lend a hand as well, just let us know which day is the day.

i can help install, ive done dp and up before as well as suspension, granted i had a lift and air tools at the time. But let me know as either im working on cars next weekend or building a deck. here comes summer woot woot!

I am still waiting on my downpipe.

Have any of you ever installed an electric gauge before? It says you have to wire it into a switched 12v source. I dunno where I would need to tap into.

?? ignition wires?? are you replacing the coil packs or something?

 

As long as someone has wired an electric gauge before.

I am gonna call about my DP and see if i will have it this weekend. If I am not gonna have it by this weekend I am gonna skip the install day and just install my gauges(minus the power for the EGT) myself this weekend. I will have everything prewired for the EGT just nothing going through the firewall.

I may attempt the bushing install too if they show up in time.

Wiring the power for the egt will be pretty easy, hope to see you guys sunday. Will anyone have a bench vice by chance there?

I guess I will just have to install what gauges I can(meaning boost and prewire the EGT as much as I can).

I am gonna make a couple of phone calls tomorrow and see if I can get it tomorrow.

i think that im going to stop by on sunday wherever we are going to be to lend a hand with anything that needs done. my G/F is in town so i think that she will want to tag along and more than likely she will get intensly board, so i wont stay too long but nevertheless i will be there for a while. By the way, where the hell are we meeting?
