exhaust

    So im going to wrap everything i got a roll of wrap, but nothing to hold it on the uppipe/downpipe and header. I went to advanced and they want like 14.99 for 4 straps to hold the wrap on..my question is what else can i use?

    Some people use worm drive clamps.like the old radiator hose clamps.They come in many sizes.Also check the better auto parts stores for open cv clamps.That is what I used.Some require a special tool.

    i was thinking the cv clamps but the guy was like it gets to hot for those

    Try the ole home depot! They got stainless clamps for cheap!!!

    Found some at harbor freight 24 16" 6.99 a pack now i just got to get teh silicon spray

    What were the clamps you found made for?I.e what were they called??

    Worm drive clamps, the have them at Advance, Napa, ect... Mine have held for 40000 miles, and are still holding just fine.

    What is the benefit to using exhaust wrap by the way?

    keep the hot in and improve exhaust flow
