Yep, that's why I was in a hurry to sell mine while it was still marketable :)

As long as the old one will still be protuneable, I'm quite happy with holding on to it.

Color? I guess they'll be adding features, too. I look at my screen long enough to confirm that the new program went in. Then, it's back on the shelf until I wanna try another map. I don't need color to see "OK."

I heard from Christian at cobb that they are planning to have the new AP2 out by SEMA. Not sure if this coincides with the discontinue, but it sure sounds like it.

Unfortunately, I wont be able to make it to SEMA to see the unveiling. Regardless, time to sell or just enjoy your AP as it is :D

I just hate the HUGE cable sticking down when I am trying to drive and log.

it is annoying when you're trying to shift, but I just deal with it for the brief datalogging escapade.

Does anybody know if they will still be unmarrying the older models? I am hoping that this whole thing drops the prices of the old ones. Any opinions?... or do you think that they will just do away with the old all together?

Yeah you're right. It will only show you the base map. I didn't think it was working until one time I tested the valet mode and my revs were abruptly cut off.
