cobb access port

    Their website states that the access port 2.0 will be available for ordering on the 30th of this month.

    Vendors have been taking preorders for 10 days or so.

    it's $695, regardless of model or model year.

    What exactly is a preorder? Is it any faster than ordering?? What about postordering??

    I would think a preorder would guarantee that you are of the first poeple to received an AP so that if it sells out quick or local supliers run out, you still have one with your name on it...

    My preorder with TDC (well known legacy tuner) comes with a choice of one of their own developed maps. There are reviewed to be stronger and smoother than cobbs as they make adjustments for elevation and such. I believe the maps are normally $100 so it's a decent bonus.

    Now their website says Dec 15 is official release date.
