    2004 WRX Wagon (suby blue)
    16" original wheels/tires

Want to go to 17"s (wheel + tire) and stay around $1,000 (+/- $150).
    225/45/17 preferred tire size

    Recommendations?

Concerned about offset. Don't want to roll fenders or anything like that but will also be adding sway bars, strut tower brace, and new springs (lower) as the next mod.

Prepping car for NASA HPDE events.

    Thanks

(I've searched the forum but couln't find direct answer to this)

7 or 7.5 width but look for an offset in the range of +48 thru +53

I bought Enkei's for my 03' for $1250 that were pretty sweet. Unfortunately they were the wrong offset so they scrubed when I put springs on... So I can't stress enough... CHECK YOUR OFFSET!!!! I would go 17 x 8 if I were you... There's plenty of options in your price range, I'd even check the forums for used ones. Plenty of people selling sweet rims for nice prices just to try something different.

Thanks for the help. I read somewhere (link throughs a thread here) that I need to stay with offsets > 50. Found some good wheels that are +48 but don't want to hose myself.
