blobeye?! which one is that, 02 or 04? Bugeye is the 02-03 and looks like a neon. 'Teardrop' as I've heard is 04-05 and 06-07 is, well you know since you have one. FTR, I work at that brand new VZW right next to the McDonalds there. I see/hear a ton of scooby's driving by daily.... :rofl: of course....CAN'T FORGET THE BEST MODEL OUT THERE!!
This was an 04-05, I got blob-eye from clubwrx.net. It was a black STi with gold wheels around 4:30 pm today. Also saw a blue 02-03 wrx at the mall around the same time.

So I've seen threads on other forums about what to call the 06+ wrx's but do you guys have any opinions...i.e. bugeye, blobeye,...? Like eagle-eye, hawk-eye, ... and please no vag-eye, that one just sucks. I have searched for it on here but didn't find anything so I figured I'd ask. If it hasn't been discussed let's do a poll after some suggestions come in. As long as none of them get refered to anything related to a "Neon"!
I haven't heard that one before...but I'm not too fond of it...anything else? The best I've seen is eagle eye...a post on another forum had two pics: one of a eagle and one of the 06+ headlight and they look identical to me. So eagle-eye, evil-eye, peanut-eye, hawk-eye (mash), demon-eyes... Any more?
I guess demon is alright. They really have no resemblence to eagles or hawks or any other birds of prey IMO. Haha stop trying to make yourself feel better about your peanut eyes
No resemblence...? Looks dead on to me. Right down to the inner point of the headlight near the grill, and the low beam projector looks similar to the iris and pupil there too. And I used a bald eagle, just to be more patriotic and impactful And my car's white! lol.
It's cool man...we all have our bad days :wiggle: Now that I made that little comparison I really think that may have been their inspiration with the redesign...and if not...we should call them eagle-eyes anyways.
don't you ever say that ever again. What to call the 04-05? how about boring? You know what...I take that back...I was just pissed about the neon comment. I love ALL of the Impreza designs.
