Cheap is a relative term, but this is about as cheap as it gets for a good core and quality piping that fits.

Started buying this, a TXS fmic core and aluminum bumper support beam. This fmic and piping new retails for 1k. I got it used with a couple of dents for $80 shipped. I masked off the inlets and outlets and painted it black.

Piping is quite a big deal on subies, there is alot of it with some complicated bends, not something easily thrown together. Bought an SS auto chrome fmic kit 2nd hand but unused. They copy the TXS core, so fitment is perfect. Came with more then $100 worth of silicon hoses, T-bolt clamps, some cheap ass bov, and fmic. Got it for $200 shipped :), and shipping was not cheap.
*Note that the core shown looks to be a godspeed core, but the piping is SSAC.

    All together now...

Total present cost =$280...will be selling off the other core for cheap, prob like $50-75 and recoupe some costs.

    looks good bro!!

Get ready for some additional lag. It's not unbearable, but it's there.
It will feel great on the highway though.

I wouldn't sell the godspeed core until you pressure test the txs core.

+1 on that test, especially if it's bent anywhere.

Oh yeah, you may want to go in and block out the address information on the box....

I have a bov adapter plate if you need one. I also have a modified stock bov that held 27 psi with no problems. I'll sell it to you for the low low price of free.

I might take you up on the bov plate man.

As for pressure testing the core, it was pressure tested to 24psi with a fp green...does that count? haha.

The purple bov is a peice of crap and will not be used, the spring in that thing is super weak...will be using the stock recirc valve.

I leave my address in pics on purpose, one of these days a 1 million dollar check is going to show up to me out of nowhere. That would rock.:)
