Let us chose a date, I've set the poll to end on the 16th of next week (Saturday). Ive been talking with Wes, and I'd like to get us another install day before the new year kicks in. That' leaves us with 2 Saturdays remaining that work for (most) peoples schedules. For those who do not remember, the previous install day hosted by Wes was up near the intersection of Windy Hill and Cobb Parkway (Zales Lot), and went quite well. Its an open lot, full of parking and perfect for these :sx: Many have requested an install day, so here's your chance Cheers, alex Thanks to Wes (calmnothing) and the Shane Company for working out the details on using the Shane Company's parking lot to host the next install day... please shop with them if u ever need to buy diamonds... event starts at 10am... please post up if you are coming, how many guests you are bringing and what you plan to install on your car... yeah you would pick two dates over the winter break. I've had that damn upipe in my garage at home since you sold it to me last spring . And other Alex, I'm still waiting to see pictures of that datsun.
I can probably head out for awhile on the 30th, though I can't be the designated JT that day and stay all day. I can bring out a bunch of sodas though...
Either works for me. Hopefully I'll be able to install the new springs/struts and all of the audio goodies.
whys it gotta be alphabetical, huh? oh, and I can bring some "beverages" and snacks and stuff, and I will hopefully have both sways to install
opps, I forgot to post in this but i voted.. I'm in for the 30th. I have Uppipe with instructions...apparently i must follow these..springs and sways!
I'm gonna try to show if it's the 30th. If anyone has an uppipe to do, I'll be watching or helping. I want to learn. At the last minute, post what's needed and I'll see what I can do.
Hells ya Im in. I dont have anything to install right now, but who knows what xmas will bring. The 30th would be great.
I'm not possitive that I'll make it. I was planning on being out of town throughout the entire break. But I do have to pay my rent at sometime, and I could use it as an excuse to come back from this install day . And I would absolutely love to get that uppipe on sometime. I'll be able to say for sure a little closer to the date.
General rundown: There's a lot or parking deck, everyone gathers, theres food and drink provided by WRXatlanta, but everyone is always welcome to bring more. They'll kick off around 10AM and run till dark generally (or whenever everyone is done). They're a nice place to do easy to medium installs, there's really no point in bringing your 6 hour job to an install simply because distractions generally will limit you in your completion. Hope that helps
I'm in!! I have a downpipe, O2 senser, carbon fiber wing risers, CAI, Whiteline Flatout Springs and TV tuner.
Wow it seems everyone has a lot of stuff to install! Hope I can get springs and UP done! (seems sways aren't too difficult to do anyways)
I definitely recommend the people with uppipes and springs to get there very very early. Last time people were having issues with uppipes.
So how do these things work? Does everyone just hang out and work on their cars or help out with other peoples cars if they are not working on their own? Sounds like fun, that is a really busy weekend for me, christmas party on the 29th and then new years eve on Sunday and new years day on Monday...I might need Saturday to recover.
So how many people are going to be getting springs done? I think i may have a set also or i may just wait till i get some new struts to put them on.
I just got my Cobb Springs in a couple of minutes ago, sways should come by tomorrow, and my uppipe is sitting in my room. Hopefully i can get the Accessport V.2 before the 30th...it was delayed and say they are shipping it on the 15th.
They usually work out really well(ive only been to 2-3 tho). Pretty much everyone tries to help everyone else if they know anything about it. But i dunno, this time we seem to have a shitload of people installing stuff so it'll probably take a long time lol.
There's always a lot of people are knowledgeable and nice enough to help with the installs. Personally I'm going to try and get everything I can done before the install day so I can help everyone out with their projects. You can always come over later in the day. People show up throughout the day.
ill be there. wont have anything to install but i havent been to any g2gs or anything since summer. hopefully ill get the ap in by then.
i don't have anything to install but count me in to show up. i'll bring a cooler w/ice and beer...i mean soda.
The springs should be on the car by then, so nothing to install for me...but I'll plan on rolling by.
