You'd need bigger wheels. A lot of websites dealing with subies will denote whether an aftermarket wheel can clear the brembos or not, but I know the stock 03s will not.

I doubt that it'll be direct fit. You might need a special bracket for it, which i don't think worth the $$$. STi front brembos can be direct fit, but they will throw off your brake balance.

With a properly selected rear pad you wont have any problems with bias.

Are you going for aesthetics? I read your spring thread also. You are going with springs, but no struts seemed a bit strange for performance. Now brembos, whats the goal of your car? Is this going to be a show car, autox, track, or just daily driver? Some mods just aren't necessary unless you want them for a specific purpose.

those brembos on ebay are different from the stock sti brembos, they are for smaller diameter rotors (270mm). The stock sti rotors are about 323mm. So, i'm going to say that they just might fit without changing your wheels, but you probably still need different brackets.

The stoptech kit might be easier and more economical than going with the STI brembo kit. In another thread people were also saying it's better for stopping as well.

to me, looks actually come first (notice how i have the sti axle back instead of any aftermarket ones..) cuz i dont have money to do everything properly, so i do things that are better than stock that wont go wrong (i.e. the reason why i use STi parts, because, well, it's made for subaru) that's why i was considering brembo calipers, cuz they look awesome, and they would increase the performance. now, the stoptech i think is also a great mod b/c i see a lot of wrx's fitted with them, and it looks superb. so, yea it'll prolly be stoptech calipers for me. and springs are the same way. i dont want to install something that will make my wrx unsuitable to drive downtown everyday, so that's why i wanted something like sti pinks where it will improve the handling, and be still drivable everyday. of course, i thought sway bars are better for handling, but i just think installing the springs is much easier than trying to install sway bars. so yea, i`m just in the learning process. but my car is strictly for daily driving while enhancing performance. i just dont believe in springs that lower the car too much, because that will actually hinder me from driving fast lol.

for instance, i would get 17" rims because it is right in the middle of good looks and good performance over 18". 18" looks better, but 17" performs better.

You're spending a lot of money for brakes when you're not doing any sort of racing.....you can do a lot of other things with that money that will enhance your car's performance and make it better aesthetically.....why not just paint your stock calipers red?
