What do you all think of just the two tone? (not the wing or fuel door) And what about the grill on this one?
I like the two tone but I dont like the second grill. Do-luck makes a nice carbon fiber skin that goes over the roof panel hnoes:
2 things, Ive never seen that done anywhere around these parts before and the other, I would like some closeup shots on that grill if you could be so kind. ty
I like it also, though I agree, not the fuel door. I would also suggest, not the trunk also, unless you plan on doing a Carbon Fiber hood also. That would look really sweet. Carbon Fiber Trunk, Roof Cover and Hood, leave the rest white. You wouldn't even need to do any of the pillars. Would be very unique.
I don't mind I'm not going to do the carbon fiber though... I work with it everyday of the week, and after seeing 'professional' work, all of the aftermarket stuff is just horrible.
i think it looks clean, and unique. i'd rock it! ultimately its your car, and if you like it, go for it mang.
there is a guy around my area with a WRB bugeye with a black roof etc, it looks pretty damn good but i dont know if im feeling it on the 06 style.
I think it looks awesome. But it definitely needs enough black elsewhere to support it. (mainly black wheels)
:wiggle: I plan on swapping the golds and hopefully getting enough to pay for the powder coating hnoes: Although... I'm going to have to find something to drive on while its being done...
If this all works out (Rotas and Zigen trade-off), I may have a set of wheels you could borrow for a few...
I'm REALLY diggin' it! Looks great! Don't care for the fuel door thang either. The wagon looks good too.
If this was Japanland I think you could get away with it; since it is not, I think more modest styling cues are in order.
I got a great guy here in commerce...if anyone needs paint or body work, he is amazing and you can't get a better price. and it's not too far far from g'ville... let me know, i'll be there all day tomorrow. crisco
i think that the only way to do 2-tone right, would be to paint from the door handles - up (the darker color). i don't think it get's the whole effect just painting the roof and pillars. i saw one a while back and that's the classic hotrod way to do it... but i can't find the pic now. it would be barker from the door handles up, including the hood.
reminds me of how the eclipse and talon used to be....one painted and one blacked out up top. Not my thing, but if you like it go with it!
That wagon is a bit much since everythign else on it is stock. I'd do a two-tone on my wagon but only after a front lip, STI HIDs, 18s, CF Hood and hatch (if only someone made one)
