Wish we could have stayed to eat! The wife was not feeling well and I was actually surprised that she came. Good to see everyone again. Dyno posted in the dyno database in power and performance. Hopefully others will do the same!

Good times, good to meet everyone. Even though I somehow managed to be the only car to confuse the Dyno beyond repair, I still had fun.

Btw- I made 177whp and 752wtq. How great is that :eek3:

I heard a lot of people had low numbers, I wonder if something is off with the calibration.

had to have been they'd ask what people thought and then they would put an extra strap for those who thought they would be high and then it would get at least 50 or more less horsepower than they thought they would get. who knows what it was but i think everyoone had fun at the same time i know i did despite the cold wind

I feel for you. They looked like they were trying; too bad they couldn't figure out the snafu.

It was cool to see everyone. Quite a load of Rex's all over the place. Milo, thanks for the stickers. Keegan, 20 cents tasted good to me.

Low readings are probably more accurate... and it gives motivation for further mods

Every dynojet or dynapack is different...you should stick with one dyno to stay consistent. That way you know your gains more accurately when you mod. They're calibrated differently, some have a difference of up to 10% between one another. Regardless...

It was a great event, good to meet everyone, very well put together, and loads of fun. Subaru owners are a good crowd to be with. Definitely glad to be part of this forum/club.

Those of you going on the mountain run tomorrow that were at the dynoday, see ya at noon.

Great event. Cool hanging out. The downsides were low and VERY inconsistent numbers. I'll get another baseline from SS before I mod. Thanks for having us Batlground.

I though my numbers were low just because I have a 2.5i stock, well that's part of it.

It was really cool to finally put some forum names with faces.

Btw, you should have seen the look on the tech's face when he opened my hood, "your missing something!" he said!

hahahaha, I told him he could just put a turbo in if it made him feel better.

Thanks for coming guys! It was a pleasure having you all. Maybe we cando it again sometime.

I had a lot of people asking about difference in dyno numbers. There are tons of reasons for this.

Here is a good article I found a while ago that does some explaining, as well.

the real value of a dyno day isn't so much about total numbers but how your car compares to others like it.

On behalf of WRXatlanta, I want to thank everyone at Batlground for hosting an awesome event for us. Everything ran smooth and I can't think of any way to have made it better. I would also like to thank some of our members who stepped up to help Alex and myself out. Two in particular are Jo (JL889) for taking care of waivers and registration, and Kevin (keeganxt) for manning the grill.

We look forward to having more events like these in the future.

Yeah it was a blast and it was awesome to meet you Alex, Milo, Rick, Scott, and many many others.

I made 267hp/263lbft with just a K&N Intake and removed the muffler.

thats a pretty big jump from stock numbers... guess that muffler is pretty restrictive

I think there were some gremlins in the dyno pit. Or maybe the hamster wasn't spinning his wheel fast enough? Rubber bands weren't tight? :dunno

    No, I'm not bitter. :D
