wait, are you sticking that whole monitor in there? Isn't that going to kind of take out your HVAC?

Ill refuse from any dirty comments, but yes, its the size of the double din...so no problems with fitmet at all. But there is always some room for extended modifications ;)

ah yeah, forgot about that bit.

Well it would be cool if it was touch screen and then figuring out a way to have on screen HVAC controls. I thought about doing it once, but the amount of effort turned me away :wiggle:

Basically a gift, thought I'd hang on to it as it is light years beyond what the factory boost solenoid is capable of doing.

The other goodies I picked up as well, however, everything but the avcr is going up for sale. Be sure to let me know if you are interested in the BOV or the SAFCII

Wheels should be in the country, specifically at the shop in Miami on Monday ;)

Also, thanks to Salmonsalad, I'll be picking up a WRX wing later this week. I figured it couldnt hurt to have some partial spec-c ness before I make the plunge into an actual spec-c / s202 / s203 wing :D

Its dissambled on the kitchen table currently. Whomever Salmonsalad picked it up from before did some janky work on it. He had a TR, and from the holes and such in the trunk, had the WRX wing put on. Its fine except there is 1 full stud, 1 3/4 full stud, 1 1/2 full stud and 1 broken stud. It looks like the body shop or whomever used JB weld to hold the stud in and eventually it just broke off. I dont see it as a big deal, the wing still seats fine. Its also apart so I can clean it up nicely and debage the subaru, remains of the WRX emblem and the impreza deal. If you're interested in the lettering let me know.

The main reason I went after a 06 trunk was for that badge. Unlike the rest of you, I actually like it. Its definately different when placed on a 04-05. Also, its nice to have another wing should I stumble across the s203 replica I want sometime in the near future :D

Actually, yeah. There happened to be a college fair at Gainesville that following week. I talked with the GT guy and I found out that I meet all of the requirements except Physics. So basically, I won't be able to transfer early like I had hoped. But its all good.

WHAT!!!!!thats terrible. I'm so sorry. Please tell me at least the trunk is still useable. I should have inspected it more before shooting off with my mouth and telling you that it was mint. That stud damage is way worse than I initialy thought. Let me know if it becomes a big deal. again sorry.

Believe it or not the lip is on SubiNoobi's 2.5i sport wagon as we speak. as far as salmonfacesalad goes...it's a dish I came up with whilst in culinary school, AIA.

Its no problem dude, I'm still enjoying fishing out the bolt inside the wing. Its like when you drop a pick into an acoustic guitar.

I HATE that! Seems when I was having a good day, I'd turn it over and shake once..viola. If I was having a shitty day, I'd have to shake it for about 30 seconds:rofl:

(I'm speaking in past tense because my guitar was stolen from my home in a break-in a couple weeks ago)

Lay the guitar flat on its back and shake it around until you can see the pick is opposite the strings on the bottom of the body, then swing the guitar in an arc until upside down - using the force of the swing to keep the pick in place on the back of the body - then stop with it right above your head, strings facing down. The pick usually falls right on top of the strings. sometimes it falls on my head...

Looks good alex. Would've liked to see you keep it wingless though.

Makes quite a difference not having that wing floating around in your rear view mirror doesn't it.

spec-c badging is next perhaps? This is off an 04 spec-c, fairly straight forward. Here are some shots of an actual rally delivery model 04 spec-c (16 in wheels, non Brembos, manual DCCD, no ABS).

Here's the rear end of a genuine RA, I love that wing mmmm

^^^ Except I know that you'd swap that nasty amber turn signal bulb out with a chrome one if that was your car. Did spec Cs come without locks?

Thats impossible. You can never win, and even if you do, no one will ever see your posts about it ;) The spec c trunk weighs around 11lbs :D

On the right car yes, on 99% of cars they just look like a dated design from 1999.

white wheels would be SO hard to keep nice...I'd have to wipe them down every day...I think they can be pulled of on a white car though IMO
