i had a very good time, and i'm glad you guys liked the food. Ped, i honestly didnt feel that much of a difference, and then i hit the highway- WOW. my car is sooooo much more stable. it is unbelievable how stable the steering felt. also, i am definitely a lot more confident taking corners now! thanks to Ped and kingwrx a.k.a. "magic touch" hahahah.

Oh, and mega props for saving my life and my car. to keep the long story short, my car almost caught on fire. and Ped, you're right, there is a noticeable difference in power as well.

thanks guys, i had a really good time. Ming, show us how you're gonna use the new JDMness.

and props to my friend bryce (TC) who got me the directions to get home....

isnt it so weird how the mustang GT pulled right next to me and started revving att me on the way home kingwrx?
o and no lie, i saw a reg. mustang in a wreck also... weird...

They're worth it for us, 04 stis have rubber bands. Naturally, in 05+ they fixed the problem ;)

it's probably really hard to install, cuz you gotta remove a bunch of stuff to get to the bushing. personally, i dont know how to do it, that's why i posted a thread looking for help. although, it will DEFINTELY be an upgrade in handling. i'd say it's the best bang for the buck!

If it was fixed on the 05', what about the 06'? Would it be worth it?

^^ not worth if for you (from what I understand anyways). They changed them for the +05's.

OK, just talked to Andy. We're going to install his bushings this Thursday night.
Of course, anyone's welcome to stop by. PM me and I'll send you directions.

If You Still Dont Feel Safe, Just Disconnect The Power Cable From Your Battery, But At That Point You Might Aswell Just Continue And Remove The Whole Thing.

It's taped, it will be fine.

    Some feedback:
Bushings are definitely worth the time and effort, once you turn the steering wheel, the car points instantly and waits for throttle input.

yea, it revved at bryce's TC, but not my rex? funny... if bryce wasnt in the front, i would've jumped on it. but yea, i just try to see if i can pull on a car, and i immediately shut down.

so it's not supposed to make the car steering feel 'heavy' right? cuz that's what i want; a meaty feel when i turn the wheel. it's marginally better for me but i still want my steering to feel like a go-kart! maybe sway bars on the front will help. i was running 45+psi on each front wheels, and i am still not satisfied.

maybe i should get a whole new steering rack! (spec C steering rack?) haha see if ped can help me with getting that installed?! lol. but yea, mucho props to ped and kingwrx again.

swaybars will surely help handling capabilities.
isnt 45+psi in the tires a bit high.
i would think if the tire is overinflated you would be riding on the center of the tire and not getting full contact with the tread to the road.
