i recently purchased the cobb stage one brake package from rallysportdirect.com and had it installed at SOG. the kit consists of DOT ss braided lines, cobb "blue" front and rear pads and ATE super blue fluid. i must say the car stops freakin excellent, maybe i just didn't realize how wornout my brake pads were before, but it's a night and day difference. it was pretty fun sitting up at SOG all day, i got to look at all the toys and think of ways to make money dissapear without my significant other noticing. i would recommend douing the install yourself if your are confident on brake work, because the price for labor resembles and old subaru WRC sponsor. im pretty confident when installing go parts because if it doesn't go , that's one problem, but if it doesn't stop that's a whole different kind of problem. anyway the experience was fun, i got to go to lunch with scott and all those kids. which by the way it was nice to meet all you guys.
okay sorry got off subject a little bit. any way the brake kit is very nice compared to stock. when i bought the car i was like "nice brakes" but now they just seem squishy with the factory lines and pads. the cob kit is more confidence inspiring, the feel is much more positive and firm, but not overbearing, and 315 doesn't seem like much for such an improvement in braking.

i plan to have the SS lines installed at SOG... i have had too many brake related issues with my WRX and i dont want to run the risk of getting any air in the lines

Yeah... I'm getting a stage 2 brake kit soon, I think I might pay for installation.
