Yeah I saw that. I broke down and decided to finally wave. Seems like around 1:20 you are always driving there. Oh and sorry for being off topic on your thread.
Yes, there is one, special sticker for Spec C Type RA and also an "out bling Alex" sticker in the making
The RA set the fastest time for a stock Japanese car on street tires at Nurburgring if I'm not mistaken.
I saw these on Subydude the other day. Looking good, can't wait to see them on the ride. Those are 18 inchers too aren't they?
Yeah 18x8. They're Rota's lightest 18, something like 19.2 lbs but it isnt a big deal. The pictures do these no justice, the flash doesnt really allow the gold flake in the paint to shine. As for the stack of wheels, its my buddy's place down in Miami. They ordered the wheels for me as well as anyone else who was in the group buy. I'm deciding what tires to throw on them. Right now its a toss up between the new Nitto Invo or the Azenis.
those are gonna look sick on your car Alex, although I think I would prefer the emotions (although expensive as hell)
If you know the right people they're not I would have gone for the actual work xd-9's but they've been back ordered for months. These came into the country first so I snagged 'em out of the crate
Here's the Invo, its Nitto's latest tire. The specs appear to be good. Its obviously no Azeni, but I am not looking for that nice of a tire for a street setup. The BBS will be outfitted with something nice though.
Its hard to say how good its actually going to be, but for free Ill try anything once Ill be sure to stay posted as to what I end up getting on there.
As I said before I am expecting delivery of the wheels sometime in the first week of March, so its not too far away Tires will prob be put on this week and then everything will be shipped up to me towards the end of the week. I cleaned up the whip today and wanted to snap a few pictures with the wing. The mirrors and the wrx spoiler provide such a pleasant and subtle styling change. Unforuntately the majority of my glamor shots didnt turn out as well as I had hoped...
Want to tell us how you're going to go about getting a set of those Invo's for free?? Oh yeah, car's looking great. Can't wait to see it with the new wheels.
Painted the trim pieces today Technically this is s202 considering the dash design, if it were an 05 dash it would considered s203 style. Ive seen s203/4 pieces up close and its nice, but it isnt exactly like the stock pieces. The stock pieces have a bit of satin to them (ie there's a slight reflection) and I wanted to achieve a similar effect. Naturally, if I am displeased with this (sitting outside waiting on them to finish up drying) its easy enough to sand, prime and repaint. Thus far though, I am pleased. Do you have any pics of it from farther away, like from your eyes POV sitting in the drivers seat? Bah I'll probably just swing by later and check it out.
Son of a bitch, I didn't think you guys had climate control (didn't know it came until 05). Looks great though!
It is an STi afterall. I know its a 04, but come on, you have to give me something a stock WRX doesnt have
wow.... that's look good. Those pics may have just helped sway me into wanting to do this after all. What's the scratch-factor on this, meaning how easily is it scratched?
Good question, according to the paint (iirc), after it sits for 7 days or so its quite resilient to scratching. Its only been a day or so in the car, Ill have an update after a week of everyday use. So far, I do not envision any problems.
Man that interior looks great man! Glad it came out the way it did, u just wait till i send out those wheels! HAWTNESS...ATL!!!! lol
