I remember a kid in high school who had a 3kgt SL (non-turbo) auto tranny ...he had some chrome 18" niche shocks and thought it was a rocket ship. funny thing is my almost stock civic ex (intake+greddy catback) could hang with it :rofl: Then he got a Camaro SS w/ a 250 wet shot...needless to say the civic could NOT hang with it:keke: this kid died a couple years later in an accident....rumored DUI and driving recklessly in the wet. anyone happen to remember Brad Mitchell from N. Gwinnett (C/O '00)? RIP...
Okay all kidding aside I used to own a Dodge Stealth R/T AWD.....it the same car like the Eclipse and Talon. Yes it is a heavy car. But that said it is a 6 cylinder and the torque comes in very fast. Also because it's a supercar chassis it handles surprisingly well. Also the gears are freaking LONG....they are longer than the WRX 5 speed. While you are shifting he will be steady pulling an in a good power band. They are nothing to sleep on. Stock for stock they can give you a run for it......it'll be a driver's race.
I talked him into coming to the auotcross, and he said that he would not only win, but he would throw down a $100 bucks :sx:

has this guy auto-x'ed before? if not, he probably doesnt know what he's gettin into...my $100 says he A: gets lost or B: kills numerous cones (or C: both) btw, IMO autocross won't show the faster car as much as it will show the faster driver
