I hope that this is in the right area, but I need to see if I could buy some bolts, or if anyone on the forums has some spare bolts for the Whiteline FS Bar. Mine are both missing!!:eek:hnoes: . I just noticed this the other day when I was getting an oil change. I am ordering the bushings through Whiteline, but I just need to get the bolts. Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Yikes! If I remember right I re-used my stock bolts on my FSB. I'm sure you could find the right bolts at Lowes or Home Depot if you look long enough... now whethey they'd be the right steel or not I couldn't say. They'd do in a pinch though.

I'm not sure what size they are (14mm maybe...) but you could try Aircraft Spruce and Speciality, they sell military grade/grade 8 hardware...

They used to sell metric also... but I'm not seeing it. Is there a Subaru dealership close by?

I am actually missing 2....the ones that are between the swaybar and the endlink. Do you think that I should just go ahead and get after market endlinks?. I have Whiteline at present. I was also told to use Lock-Tite...Ped, did we use Lock-Tite after the bolts were put in?. I forgot...:eek:hnoes:

you need 10mm grade 8 bolts at least 50mm long
for temp if you cant find 10mm then 3/8 is the closest

    ped uses VTEC paint :)

So, are you saying a 3/8th inch bolt that is 50mm or longer will work right?.

In a pinch it will but you need to located a metric bolt so there won't be any play. You don't want that wiggle or the sway will clunk and rattle like crazy. For the endlink question you had....if your stock front endlinks are metal no need to upgrade them.

    Wait a minute Mark....

What you're saying is that the endlink bolt is missing....
Aren't you running the stock endlinks???? Is the stock endlink there?

If you are, then you shouldn't be missing any bolts, maybe a nut that fits the endlink if anything.

Also, what bushing are you ordering? When you purchased the sway bar it would've (or was supposed to come with upgraded bushings).

If none of this makes any sense, can you take a pic and post it or email it to me?

Ped, both of the bolts from the front sway are gone...and the endlink on the right sway is pretty much deteriorated. I will take pics today or tomorrow when I am about to put on the new bolts that I am getting tonight. I have some buddies that are going to help me put the bolts back in. They have tools, etc. I am ordering Kartboy endlinks from www.oakos.com. I can get front and rear for 180.00 and free shipping to HI. That is what my friends recommended.
Things are going great over here......except for this...I will get it all fixed...How is the new house doing PeD?.

What I'm not understanding is this...

The bolts and endlinks are one piece, unless the joint got ripped out of the endlink itself. There
should be no bolts to replace. If anything, the only thing that may need to be replaced is the nut.

(this only applies to the stock units, most aftermarket endlinks DO have bolts that can be lost).

I don't understand how or what you buying a bolt is going to do for you.... on stock endlinks.

wagon endlink is like a dogbone (plastic)
and the bolts do come loose

take a pic mark i think i know whats your prob
and if your endlink does not have at least one end with sph bearings then you will have issues down the road. but maybe not with whiteline wagon specific FSB

Mark don't tell me you already lost your nuts after moving to Hawaii? :keke: J/K anyways if you replace those put a split washer on the inside of the nut...it'll keep it from backing back out.
