don't change the oil yet! we have to take the turbo out to put the up pipe in. well i mean, we don't have to but that is the easiest way for us to do it.

You sure you wanna take the turbo off for an uppipe change? It's a lot of work to get that rubber oil line back on the turbo and car.

I'll be there around 6pm or later depending on traffic to get Keegan's endlinks.

    On the Uppipe......

Any with GOOD experience? We want to make this the least amount of a headache as possible. I dont want to remove the turbo, drain lines, or anything IF I dont have to

i was just told that it would be the easiest way for us to do it from above. since my jack and stands can only get the car so high. it will be a PITA to wedge it in between the turbo and header. thought it would be easiest to drop it straight down from above and have someone underneath bolt it to the header than place the turbo back in and bolt that and the downpipe in.....

but anyone with a better suggestion would be GREATLY appreciated.

Has to go up or down. You can remove the bracket that is sitting right near the turbo manifold. Its not doing anything and is only there for future upgrades on your turbo. It also helps to take out the egt sensor pluged into your uppipe before trying to remove it.

yeah i think with the two or three sets of instructions we've found we will figure it out. this will be the most intensive install of the day, the rest are very straight-forward.

yes indeed...hey jake...does your year wrx have complete fold down seats...cause mine only has a ski hole. so ther may be a learning curve for getting the back seat out. the bottom i think still just pops out and then unbolt the top half.

and are we doing a cat back... will need some some big pliers or whatever they're called to get the exhaust off the hangers.

well we've got airmax's intercooler and heatshield off so far...making a trip to advance to get exhaust hanger puller and some other stuff. That invidia turbo back he picked up is gangsta'! Can't wait to get my downpipe.

what time are you getting off work...and are we installing the endlinks or are you just picking them up.

Can you install them please? I get off a 5, but expect me to be there at 6 thanks to atlanta traffic.

Remember the O2 socket at advance! It's a rental. A 22mm wrench doesn't work well!

Tip: put some dish soap in the slots/holes in the rubber hangers for the exhaust and the new catback/axleback pops in easily. :)

well this turned out well. kinda, other than running into an abnormal amount of missing parts, and broken parts. the up pipe was a biatch. the turbo back wouldn't have been so bad if we just had one gasket we were missing. but all in all, we had a big turn out and the other projects went smoothly...

Yeah, thanks again everybody for the help! I am loving the new life of the car, minus a nasty leak and bolt that are getting fixed in the morning.
