Wanted to thank everyone I met at the battlegrounds dyno day for being cool to a non-subie owner, figured there might be some haters but everyone was friendly.(I had the red evo.) another evo owner~! hey. i was all like lonely here. but i think we got some now. subies and evos should stick together since we are like the only 2 that are similar. price,power,class.

Welcome mang. What we really need is a WRX and Evo club where we can all learn more about cars and mods and whatever. Like other people said Evo's rock and glad you joined up.
When I first bought my STi, I thought there would be tensions with the EVO guys, but to my suprise, and liking, they've all been really cool!
There is a black Evo driver in my apt complex but he looks pretty stuck up. Never waves or even nods. Maybe cause I don't have the big fancy wing or the Sti look on my WRX. Oh well, no biggie.
dont you hate evo owners? lol .... i have an evo im not like that. i hope. sometimes when i see a sti or wrx i wanna wave but they dont look my way so even if i doit they dont see me. when i try to get their attention they think im trying to race them.
Ok ok, here's the deal. They (likely) don't look at you because they don't want to contribute to the big head that some Evo owners have. They saw you from a mile away but stopped looking as soon as they were close enough to see well... at least that's what I used to do. There are actually STi owners that are too good to wave to WRX owners as well as Evo owners, and then there are people who just havn't yet figured out the idea of waving to folks who have the same or similar ride. Virtually ALL motorcycle riders wave to each other though. I know I wave to anything on two wheels no matter what kind of bike I'm on, and I ride all types. You also see the hooked up Jeep, Mini, PT Cruiser.... basically any unique type of vehicle owners waving.
