    <<Carbon Fiber Products>>

Alright... I know that just about everyone on here loves the look/function of carbon fiber, but how many of you are actually willing to invest in carbon fiber parts for your cars? I'm not talking about hood/hatches, although that may be a possibility, I'm talking about simple stuff to start like:
Mirror covers, Roof spoilers, dash kits, speaker enclosures, radiator shrouds, pulley covers, battery boxes, front license plate panels, air snorkel... Things like that.
These items would be made from a wet-layup process (possibly pre-preg later down the road) and will use 2X2 or 4X4 carbon fiber weave.
Don't hold me to these prices, but for example:
    Mirror Covers - $40
    Front License Plate - $25
    Roof Spoiler - $275 (3-piece)
    Radiator Cover - $50
    Battery Box - $200

These prices are NOT definate, but should be close.

Give me some feedback on this... :)

I'd love to get some cf pieces for my engine bay. I'm especially interested in a carbon fiber air snorkel (maybe you could do a whole carbon fiber intake using a stock looking snorkel). Also i would buy the battery box, radiator cover and a pulley cover.

When doing the prices, I just roughly estimated the cost of materials/labor...

Yes, carbon gauge pods wouldn't be that hard at all
If you wanted... Basically every thing in the engine bay could be carbon...
Here it what we're hoping to do:

I'm just trying to figure out if it would even be worth the time and effort to do it. If the demand isn't there... Then whats the point, but if we could get a lot of people to rally around the idea and let things grow, bigger and better things could happen for the community

Nationally, it should be. Even at 3x that price.

Can you make molds of spoilers? Is this cf gonna be tougher than the cf products currently on the market which are normally fibreglass mostly.

Yes they will, and it depends on the spoiler. I/we will be starting with simple stuff and then moving to bigger and better things

Well if you want to end up selling on a larger scale, I could help out with my current RB5 spoiler which alot of the RS crowd is after.
