Just set a new class record at Road Atlanta 1:38.16. Tommrow Ill be running without my dad in the car so hopefully Ill get into the 1;37s. Having fun the new pavement seems fast to me but the really fast guys like Reese Cox are saying that its up to a second slower than the old pavement so who knows. Matt
Representin the A to the fullest yo. Me and THE SIEGEL will be discussing some ways to get the laptimes down. I think there is way more time left in the car, thinking back on the last session I'm going to soften everything up.
You can gut the car but it wouldn't be very comfortable, or practical. Besides the STI interior doesn't really weigh all that much.
Congrats on the times. Atlanta should represent well in OLOA this year with 2 excellent subies and drivers.
Thanks Monk. Yeah since I broke the car we ended the day early but atleast I got the track record for TTS. Thats what I really wanted. Really I just wanted to go 1:39.9 knowing that the car is capable of more now makes me very happy. Matt
I went off 10A and I went kinda sideways back on after 10b. When it came back on track there is a big ridge and it move the bolts where the strut mounts to the spindle. It also broke another prototype part that we are testing but I'm not at liberty to discuss that just yet. We are going to examin it and try to determine if it would have broken without the impact. I would not be scared to run said product again. Matt
Me and Scott were in the car and it was a very controlled off, we are both fine. I almost got away with it without hitting anything but the edge of the track is real nasty coming back on. Matt
Glad to hear that the Subie survived. Got the text and was estatic! Keep it up with THE SIEGEL Matt! You've already set so much it's a blast to still hear that you continue to push it!
