Where's this place at in Cumming? That's my side of town and wouldn't mind seeing what the ceramic tint looks like.
Not trying to steal Solars business, but if he can't do it for you Saturday, I can do it for you any other time you want. The Sunroof would be so simple. There is virtually no curve to the glass, so tinting would be really easy.
Yes, you will eventually get busted. It's that simple... It used to not be such an issue and you could drive around for years without getting busted. The times have changed and trust me, you'll get busted. It's unfortunate, I know... but it's the truth.
Actually, I live in Canton. For those that want to come, show up at 9 AM. I will push through as many cars as I can up until 2 PM. The cars that don't get done can either be moved to the following weekend where we can come up with a more neutral location, or you can schedule a time with me at your leisure to get it done and I will still honor the member prices. Also, I do mobile work as well. I will come out to you if you have a relatively clean environment for me to work in that is out of the elements and wind and is big enough for your car to fit in and have the doors open and still allow me to walk around with space. If you want mobile work, include an additional $20 to the club member price. My address is: 123 Mill Creek Dr Canton, GA 30115 770-442-5549
Thank you for the directions. That's a bit far for me saturday cause i have to go in the mountains, but next weekend i will definately make it.
No, not professionally. I have played around with Tint before, and I recently tinted the windows on the Garage Door for privacy. I would do a horrible job doing any curved glass, but any surface that is flat and square would be cake. I have contemplated trying to tint my car myself, but I know how much of a PITA it is to remove tint if I did a shitty job (as I would expect).
Haha Sounds good. However, it seems only Alex is on the list. I have another car at 3 PM that's a mobile job, but I was hoping to get at least one more from this forum... I think we decided to do this too late. Who knows... There's always next time!
I definitely plan on getting tinted, just too short notice. I have too many things going on this weekend to be able to commit to coming, hence the "I might" part. I hope to be able to come, if only to watch and learn some tricks of the trade.
Yarg, Matey... that there be a long drive. Yarrr... Where do you live? I'm like 30 - 1 hour from pretty much everything.
I don't personally... I think Solarworks in Roswell does it. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe I saw them doing it last time I was around that area. While I hate to give business to them for anything, that's the only place I can think of.
He didn't get a ticket cause he couldn't roll down his windows. Officer: "Roll the window down." Alex: "I can't. Sorry." Officer: "I said roll it down!" Alex: "Sorry... just got them tinted." Officer: "I don't care, roll it down... ah screw it. Have a nice day." Alex: "You too!"
LOL but i did have to open the door to give him my stuff but he said he couldnt see my temp tag in the window
Id imagine it should settle if you bake it out in the sun some more ? I did a little something something last night to match the new window tint too :dirty:
Does it look like it has fluid in it? If so, as I explained, that's just simply water and it will cure out over time. As long as you leave your car sitting in the sun, it should take about a week for the haze and any water bubbles to completely evaporate especially with the thicker films such as ceramic and full metal films.
