Just letting all you Savannah guys know that the next autocross down here is on April 1st at Armstrong. The lot that we set up in there is really nice and we usually have a really good turn out at this event. I will be there, hope you guys can make it also.
I was delayed from St. Patrick's weekend on the last go around.... But yes I will be there for sure, and this time with a lil more power.
i'll try to get out there but i'm shooting a wedding on saturday and i don't know when i'll be back in town saturday night. if i do make it, i'll be doing the picture thing, probably not gonna race... this'll be interesting as it's my first "real" wedding as the official photographer. wish me luck!
How's that ride doing these days mang? (Hazzard) Last I saw you had some pretty good plans for it but I didn't catch much more than that. What class are you running it in and stuff?
honestly, i haven't done much to the car recently. i am fast approching a need for a coilover rebuild and i still haven't upgraded the AccessECU to an AP as to what class i am running, i am now in ESP. traded my stoptechs for some stockers. i still have my plans for the car, i am just lacking the $$ currently to fulfill them. i figure when i get it paid off, i can finally do what i want with it and continue making payments in the form of go fast parts.
wheres this place at im not familiar with savannah at all so an address would be great i have navigation, i wont have my subie but ill make a run with my f-150:rofl: will there be any wives and kids there mine will be there with me so it would be great for her to meet people
armstrong is on abercorn st which is the main drag where all the malls are and such. it is the large college on that takes up one side of the road. the autocross is being held in the parking lot that can be seen from abercorn.
went and saw some rides, everyone seemed anti-social, so i left after about 10 minutes, talked briefly to a guy in a silver wagon, wasn't very talkative, cool though you guys have good turnouts for events
that was travis that you ran into. i was running around like crazy trying to get things set up and all. maybe next time i will run into you. i did manage to get some video of a few of my runs. i will post them up when i get them off the camera.
Hey man don't hesitate to come up and introduce yourself man, we normally see a lot of new faces show up at these events, so it's easy for us to get side tracked talking to different people. Keep an eye out for our next weekend g2g, looking foward to meeting ya! And our next autocross is on the third Sunday in May at Hutchinson Island.
its cool, next hopefully ill have my car, even though im not into autox or rallyx im all about supporting and showing up to g2g's, my cars goal is mainly for show and 1/4 mile runs
that was me in the silver wagon, my bad man, i was tired, didnt mean to make you feel unwanted or anything. definatly come out to the next one, its a lot of fun.
no worries, i got plenty of time to meet the subie community, whens the next g2g my car goes into scott siegel for a tune and a couple of installs i don't feel like doing myself(fuel rails, ra gears, flywheel, bumper,blow thru tube and front/rear lips) maybe sometime in the future we can have a g2g go for a cruise and bs.
we are working on trying to get a regular schedule for gtgs down here. ksource started a thread asking for ideas. we do all need to meet up though. it has been way too long.
