Really wasn't as hard as I thought it might be, probably due to cheap tires that I want to replace. Just stick it in first, turn a bit, and then give it between 1/2-full throttle. Voila out comes the rear. Was pretty controllable in the drift state, and it managed to get a bit farther sideways than I would have expected.

did it a few times today, was great fun. Now I know where the limit of my tires are in the rain(not high enough):)

I am curious as to how bad this was for my center diff. The rears were spinning and I kind of doubt the fronts broke loose. I'm not to worried about it, just curious what damage I may cause if I do this more often.

I was trying that today. I could feel the front wheels breaking loose then the rear would kick in. I've only had the car for a couple of weeks. Still trying to get a feel. It was fun tho.:)

You didnt do any damage to the front diff as long as all 4 tires were spinning. You only damage them when you yank the e-brake and the front/rear speeds are way different.

well I never pull the e-brake unless stopped. Still I doubt the front were spinning much if at all. I could definatly feel the rears spin, which caused it to step out quite nicely.
