Well only a couple of weeks left of school and was wondering if anyone in the community has any part time jobs going? I'm computer literate, can do some stuff to cars, can do menial stuff, labour intensive jobs are cool too. I also have a British accent so customers always love me. I'm cool to be around... erm what else. I'm 19 and up for pretty much anything. I would actually like to work 4 or 5 days a week if possible.

Pm me or leave summit in here if you've got any advice on what I should try out.

If you're just looking at making some money you can always get a job at a racetrac gas station. I used to work in one, it's a lot of work, but it's a clean environment. Pay starts at $8/hr.

There's lots of valet companies in downtown/Midtown Atlanta hiring for evenings. Generally, you're put on a $15/hr salary that comes out of your tips, and the rest of the money is given to the company who hires you.

I know someone who might enjoy that if it's just some days... if it's every day I can look into it.

I thin you can cross out the bartending... hes still 19. I can get you a job at Road Atlanta as a corner marshal if thats something that you'd be interested in...
    Responsibilities include:
    waving race flags
    tending to wrecks
    putting out burning vehicles
    pulling people from vehicles
    helping riders upright their bikes
    ect....

Starting pay is $10 an hour. you would receive a schedule of events each month, and just sign up for the ones that you want to do. I've been doing it for the past 2 1/2 years part time, and since I was busy last year, I only worked 2 events all year. But on the flip side, since its race season, you could probably get in 3-4 days a week on average. I like it because you get to pick your own schedule and get paid for watching cars on the track :) Its also the best seats in the house.

Send me a PM if your interested

Wow thanks alot for the response, wasn't expecting this much. I'm just gonna take a shower and go over this more thoroughly.

Is bartending really a 21+ job here? Been drinking since birth in England, so didn't know about that.

You're a LIMEY!!! OH MY GOD!!! ok Limey jokes aside, that RA job sounds pretty fun. Too bad I can't do it due to being in IT and having to keep my schedule open for emergencies. However, I think most states have a 21+ law for employees serving open container of alcohol.

What is your field of major? you might want to look for a job related to that.

Journalism. I have contacts in CNN but the competition for un paid internships is very intense amongst people who are much further along in their degree's. This summer I would rather do something interesting and make some money too.

The road atlanta and sog ones sound very fun but the location is a little bit of a pisser for commutes (285 + 85 = balls). I'm still interested though. The bank telephone person job also sounds very nice, especially since I'll be living in Sandy Springs. The billiards would be great if we could work something out ;) The gas stations are a nice idea also, they didn't even occur to me until now!

Sorry I have fallen behind on this. Have had a lot going on particularly with the Club Wars.

I will be traveling all summer so my involvement will probably be limited.
