Well he has done it again! Went waaaaay out of his way to come over and help me fix my oil leak post stock UP/DP reinstall. It seems like the bolt for the oil line feeding the turbo was loose. While we weren't 100% sure thats all it was, I made the decision to go ahead and put it back together and just watch it, since we couldn't see any other visible issues. The oil return line was in mint condition, no other obvious cracks, breaks, etc. Thanks again Ped for heading all the way over here! I haven't seen any leaks since we put everything back in and I have it parked in the driveway on a slope. Hopefully, if there is still a leak, that will help the oil to drain to a point where I can see it.
You're more than welcome Scott. Glad to hear there's no leak. Hopefully it'll stay that way, there's no reason it shouldn't, unless I'm blind.
Cool! I was wondering about the return line when you mentioned it since it seems like it's just a drain and not really under pressure... so this makes more sense. If you're ever in need for new washers for it (easy to lose) by the way, Advance Autoparts carries those types of washers in the 'help' section. Don't ask how I know.
Thank you Ped for the brake install and helping uninstall my interior! Oh ya, my center console stuff isn't plugged in somewhere (no power to the cig thing and heated seats). I have some other stuff coming in later on...guess i'll have it fixed then?
I must have missed your post Scott, mine is leaking too and I can't figure out where just yet so maybe I need to check this-where is it located?...obviously near the turbo but more specifically? Edit: oh Yeah Peds' the MAN!!!
Wow, this pEd guy sounds great! (that, or high on glue...) I need my lawn mowed and gutters cleaned. What do you think?
