http://www.autoblog.com/2007/07/03/spy-shot-vs-spy-shot-evo-x-and-wrx-sti/ Me likey the STi with the fenders.
Personally, I like the idea of a 300 hp hatch... I just hope they don't put the fugly grille from the 08 WRXs on the STi!
The New STi design has for sure grown on me...I will never come to like any Mistubshity though...sorry guys
I think it looks good from the front. But I also think it looks very not good from the back. And sorry Alex, I cannot condone dual exhaust on a 4-cylinder. I used to make fun of the fact that the turbo neons had it, and I certainly can't go back on that now. Mitsu finally put out an Evo that looks better than the STi (because they sure hadn't previously). Edit: Although I just noticed the Evo has duel exhaust too. Both cars just look larger to me. They just look less capable and sporty (even though by all accounts this is absolutely wrong)
EVO V was damn sexy, i have to say the hatch is starting to grow on me as well.. the EVO looks good in pics ill have to see them both in person to make a final decision though.
i would wait for atleast 2 years before getting the evo. since with the new engine and all let them work out all the bugs. they do have the evo hatch thats in the works for you hatchback fans.
Dewey, I think you would be surprised. They two tips could be on there currently to throw us off. Although the legacy gt pulled if off nicely. The sti is a bit more mature looking, inside and out yet it retains the sportyness of something euro/jap that it should. Its no longer an engine with a body it seems but something so much more...they're going after achieving and all arounbd nicer ride and I for one can dig it
Umm yeah, were did that come from. I'm diggin' on it, too. Shocker! Man, what a fun game these two companies play. I'm glad they're both such amazing machines. With out one, we wouldn't have the other. For that, I like them both. Plus, it's fun to beat up on Evos
http://jalopnik.com/cars/wrx-marks-the-spot/spy-photos-2008-subaru-wrx-in-the-wild-again-275548.php Not feeling it.
Sad. Subaru needs to hire some Italian or young American auto designers (but definately not Italian engineers)
The new STI appears to be everything that I am hoping for. The only help I will need on the looks will be Alex's help on the tails and maybe the headlights. I love the spoiler, and the fact that it's not the huge box. I'm going to be in line for one as soon as it is available. Chris likey!
It looks like we'll be able to fit HUGE tires under that. It also appears to have a perfectly flat bottom, from the nose to the rear axle. The camber gain in the back looks good. It appears to have a wider wheelbase, and the aero looks amazing. This could make the on-track domination even better Siegel
im not sure on either of the two, but the more i look at them the more they appeal, but still nowhere as nice as the previous model IMO!
