Here is a guy we tuned today, 2.5 STI Shortblock, WRX Heads, Stock WRX trans, t3/t4, FMIC.

Customer wanted to stop at 320/320 to avoid having any kind of transmission problems. Heres what The Seagull got out of it:

Why is the curve so bumpy? Are the dyno curves usually smoothed or was there something different? Just curious. :)

tires, rolling resistance, etc sometimes make it hard to get a smooth graph

He definitely had a bent rim and was awfully bouncy on the dyno for some reason....tires?

I am a believer that driving style breaks more trannies than power.

Slipping the clutch and granny shifting FTW

    thats right!!
any time you side step a clutch at 6000 rpm + and miss shifts also short shifting how long do you really think the trans will last.

I hope I dont have a bent rim. I think that I am going to change my wheel bearings on the drivers side and see if that helps. The wheel had just started acting like that in the middle of the tune.

Oh yea it is. I was so excited that when I left I stopped and got gas at quicktrip.I went inside and payed first, came back out, got in my car and left without pumping the gas into my car. I got onto 75south and realized it so I had to turn around and come back:ddirty:

Yeah, my bad, after I clicked submit I was like shit it was a wheel bearing. Hell of alot cheaper that those sexy rimz. Anyways what PSI did you end up @? I know your car has got to have a lot left in it.

yeah, whats wrong with QT? granted, im only TBE+AP OTS map, but I have no problems as far as I can tell. I get really good gas mileage with QT as well.

Is this difference something you can only see on a dyno?
