    damn dude!!

That is indeed messed up. www.edgeracing.com has the best prices and selection of wheels for Subaru's. I know Sears USED to sell Rota. Not sure if they still do or not, or if you have to order them.

Uber F'ing lameness. Were they marked in any way? What tires were on them? We can keep a look out.

And does anyone have one of those stencil/engraver things to mark rims? I'd like to put "Property of XXX" somewhere on my rims.

BTW, if you have insurance the cost to replace is ($740/rim + $220 tire) X 4 = almost $4k for cheaper but still light rims + sticky tires + mo' mods. :) always look on the bright side

Get a report first, see if insurance will pick them up.

Otherwise, atleast there's only ONE fucking car they can bolt too....should be easy to find the thieves on ebay/craiglist.

insurance doesnt pay you all of that. you have to get them the cost of the exact wheel that was on your car (guess you could lie about that, unless like in my case they sent an adjuster out to see the damage from my wreck) and then they will give you cost. Plus you'll have to pay your deductible....

$400 for tires, and $2800 in wheels. He had OE wheels.

You could still get a check for over $2K from your insurance company??? They just take the deductible out of your payout, not like you have to write them a check.

I don't think an adjuster would be able to divine what wheels were on the car after they were stolen from it.

But if a dealership has information backing him up, as well as other credible witnesses....that could be enough.

We know for a fact he had the stock wheels on it the last time it was here for a clutch job.

Man that sucks, good thing you rolling again though. I take pics everytime I do something to my car with date an time so that way IF something happens I wont get too screwed by insurance.
Question, did you have you alarm on and if so did or would it have went off?

OMFG! did you at least have wheel-lock lugs on there? or was it just stock lugs? i'm curious, and worried... theft should be covered by your insurance. REPORT it.

sorry this happened man, i would freak.

I was delivering to this nice upscale apartment complex in Dunwoody where there are several high end cars including a lambo living there, and someones Range Rover was sitting on bricks. One wheel was even sitting on a block of concrete from a nearby construction site.

    Thieving bastards!!

    Did you have wheel locknuts?

Also anyone know how hard it is for a crook to get lug keys for locknuts?

I think I'll look for a secret place for my locknut key.
