ok guys, we have a date, now where do we all want to meet up?

Fudruckers on 17, Spanky's in Pooler, somewhere on abercorn (B&D's or Chili's?)


and does 6:30 or 7:00 work for everyone?

 

I'll be there. I say we go to Chili's. Got to love the two for one beers.

 

sounds good, anywhere really. i know the AWD team meets up at Spiva Law group sometimes ,never been but hows that sound?

 

is that on abercorn where the media play was?

honestly, we try to stay away from gathering in a parking lot, especially on abercorn. there are too many idiots down here that think weekend nights are public street race night and the police break up every car group they can find whether they are just hanging out and talking or actually setting up street races. in the past, we did meet up at media play (before it was torn down) and eventually we started attracting other people that just wanted to race us. the few meets that we have had recently have mostly been at eating establishments or the pooler go cart track.

i don't mind going up there and checking it out though. i just don't want to be associated with street racers.

i definitely dont want any part of streetracing, lets just say that it is a very expensive bad habbit :hsnono: so in light of that i say we go to any restaurant. it would be cool to find a hang out spot where we could just check each others cars out. as long as we dont draw attention to the local ricers

 

last meet we had was at spanky's in pooler. their parking lot is decent size and it wasn't all that busy, plus, it is away from the street racers.

fudruckers was a good spot also. i am game for either one, unless there are other ideas. once we figure out what time and where, i will get in touch w/ the guys that aren't on the boards much.

 

hmm, don't know if i'll be able to make it. either friday or saturday i'll be heading to charleston for the rocky horror picture show. i'll let you know if i can make though!

ok, Spanky's in Pooler on the 10th @ 6:30.

for those that don't know, it is right off of Hwy 80 between I95 and Dean Forest (hwy 307). if you are coming down from 95, it will be on the right. just look for the yellow and white striped awning.

 

i'll try to be there. spanys is good with me, haven't had it since St. paddy's day weekend.
