Guys, been looking to replace the Prodrive springs I just installed as I'm not happy with the drop. I was going to buy RCE's but saw these and they are tempting.... The car is just a daily driver, no auto-x or anything.. Please reply with any opinions quick because I'm sure these will sell quick.

Really? I never heard any complaints. Do you know what he dislikes about them?

Yeah... just debating... 339 for RCE springs or 625 for cheapo coils.. I figure they'd ride about the same as I've the RCE's ride pretty rough. I've made peace with that, I just want to get rid of the monster truck gap!!!

Most inexpensive coilover complaints are bad valving. Meaning the ride is bouncy, or harsh. They aren't bad if you are looking for a inexpensive coilover as a weekend warrior, but not great if you are only daily driving.

They suck just like the resto of the 1000 dollar coil overs, if you want decent coilovers you need to spend 1500 plus.

The Helix's are 'ok'.....best if used on applications where money is TIGHT and you are not looking for absolute MAX performance/ride comfort. They work well for most new WRX customers who can barely afford the car to start with. I've setup several subarus with these coilovers. They are like any other coilover...easy to work with/install/setup...but they ride like the Whiteline Group 4, Cusco, early Tein Flex, and others with similar build....which means they mostly suck. Ony thing that doesnt suck...cheap and its a coilver.

I'd recommend the Megans on ebay. $900 shipped and they are brand new. The Megans ride better, and will last WAY longer. They have more damper range adjustment as well.

I have them on two of my cars.

Don't put $600 dollar coilovers on a $32,000 dollar car. Wait till you have the money and buy nice ones. I recommend the KWs.

Just like other people said the main advantage to the dna's is their price. I have them on my car but they are bouncy and the springs feel too stiff for daily driving. The height adjustment can also be a pita when you have them installed on the car because they don't have a helper spring.

Bottom line for me is that they are better than just having springs, and they are an ok brand for entry level coilovers. That being said in retrospect i would just save my money and go for more expensive stuff such as the tein flex.
