And damn is it humid. It was a extremely eventful ride back from Dallas. We got caught in a storm in Tuscaloosa. Then stuck in traffic for about an hour because a semi crashed. Finally blew a tire near Birmingham. Swapping the spare was a real pain since the car was completely packed. I was also worried about driving back home for about 150 miles on the spare. Thanks to Matt, Steven, and Scott for responding to my calls All in all, took us about 13 hours to get back home. The tire is completely destroyed. Luckily, the rim doesn't look damaged. Gotta order another RE01R from trierack. At least the tires are less than a month old so I don't need to replace them all.
ok, time to close up shop!! glad you made it home safe and sound, despite the troubles. We'll see you at the Fellini's meet next week, yes? Excellent And I got no phone call
Backstreet's back.... alright! Glad to see you back milo! I'd bitch to tirerack and get a free tire... it worked with kumho
Thanks for all the welcomes I'll be there I was driving and suddenly the car started pulling hard to the left. I pulled over and took a look at it to find the tire completely flat. After taking it off, I saw the spot where a nail entered. But the tire seemed to have spit the nail out and it lost all its air. The rim seems ok but it chewed up the sidewall from the inside. Not sure what I could say to them. It was a road hazard and I didn't get the road hazard coverage.
I have my womanly powers of bitching..... I had a v710 start to delaminate after 6 autox runs; initially Kumho argued with me, then they gave up and sent me another tire
