WRXATL Dyno day UPDATE: MUST READ!!

Ok guys the dyno day is approaching and I need everyone who is going to come to chime in let us know if they are coming and if they are going to be bringing friends. Also chime in if you are just going to come and hang out, so we have an idea of how much food and drinks are going to be needed.

Secondly IIRC we have allready got 35 cars signed up for the dyno day, what we are going to do is dyno all the Subaru's first, this way the dyno is setup for the same car and does not have to be changed in between dyno runs. Once the subarus are finished the other vehicles will be dyno'd as a first come first serve basis.

This is a dyno day only!! No tuning will be done on the dyno, also every car is expected to be working properly IE; fuel, timing, boost controllers, boost leaks must all be addresed before the dyno day. If an issue comes up while the car is on the dyno we will not have time to trouble shoot the issues. So it will be unstrapped and then removed from the dyno, with the option to re-dyno if the problem is fixed and time allows.

We are looking forward to this event as it will be the largest Subaru dyno we have had here and are hoping this is one to remember.

The first car will go on the dyno at 8:30am Sharp, there will be fresh donuts and coffee for those who like me are not morning people.

Around 12:30pm will will start lunch , hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and drinks. No alcohol will be allowed in the shop, if you would like to bring beer or whatever that is ok. Feel free to do so you just have to hangout outside in the parking lot and not inside the shop as out insurance policy will not allow that. Remember your limits when drinking, if someone has too much to drink we will find you a ride home, as we do not want anyone hurt.

Last car off the dyno should be around 9-10pm.

All in all this should be a great event, we hope to see everyone out here for the dyno day.

How many people will be there until the end? because I don't get off work until six and would like to come later, but would hate to drive all that way and then hardly anyone be there.

probably depends on the wheel base, I think thats how it works anyways

Hey Doug I dont wnat to be there all day waiting on a dyno can you give us some kind of idea when to show up so I dont have ot wait until evening to dyno. I have a rear wheel drive so I am gonna have ot wait until after all teh subys any how!!

Ok, again, dumb question. How do I get to TopSpeed from Atlanta (midtown)? I've never been there and can't find an address online to mapquest

would anyone be up for helping replace gaskets on my UP leakage tomorrow while we are chilling and dynoing. i don't have all the deep sockets and extentions necessary, or a torque wrench. A little install day mixed with dyno never hurt anyone!

 

I've got the deep sockets if Alex will bring them from his house... and the torque wrenches. you're welcome to use them
