So maybe it's the nice weather, and I just want to work on a car, but I've been catching the mod bug like crazy lately. Unfortunately (or maybe luckily) I have absolutely no money to spend on car stuff. I'd love to pick up some springs and sways before the subaru challenge... Anyone going mod crazy lately?
Haha oh, I've had it before. It's just biting really hard right now. Haha I have been. Late night drives on cool nights with the windows down and the heater on ftw The cool air has been letting the car pull a little stronger too.
I'm right there with you all too..completely stock 07 GT..just getting grocery's here and there..thats about all i do...but yea..my mom had always told me something about saving my pennies and by the time I'm like 90 I'll be a millionaire..so I'm trying to do that whole thing right now... haha
just put a couple thousand in a roth ira fund and by time your about 60 you'll be a millionaire and wont have to worry about saving pennies
yea true but after surviving cancer 2x and a kidney transplant 60 sounds waaay too far..lol... but I think ill mod over winter and spring time ill be ready to play
The highs are never as high or as long as the previous one. You'll be jonesing for more in no time. My next fix is a .82 exhaust housing for the t3/t4oS.
I've just got the car bug, itching to get back in the seat so I can have the mod bug. Right now I'm just looking for a GC seat so I can hack it up and lower my stock wrx seat, or just retrofit the seat into my car and ditch side airbags. Hopefully I'll have it in and it will get me low enough to wear a helmet for the subaru challenge. I guess you could say I've got the mod bug even though I'm without a car :wiggle:
If I need more power, it will most probably require better internals. I don't think I want to go that far.
I waited 3 years and 50k miles until running a full turbo back and stage2 with the cobb ap v2, and amazed at the difference. Don't hold out Also did coilovers and rear sway at 50k, and loving them too.

"future mod list" always made me giggle....bigger turbo, 8,000 tvs, two 25 inch subs, 44inch wheels...thats what they PLAN on doing....is there a time limit to what u can refer to the future as?? haha..ok its 4:22am, just getting home for work I'm out of it..lol
I am going to get one of those sweet "supercharge any car for $39.95" deals. Its cheap and then I will have a supercharger AND a turbo!!! Now I just need to find a way to get VTEC... :slap:
