Hello everyone at wrx atl. I am the proud owner of not a wrx:eek3: but a 93 impreza. I was an owner of a 99 impreza but it was wrecked. But the 99 was sort of resurrected in the 93. Lets start form the beginning I bought the 93 for $825.00, it was automatic FWD suckie 1.8L:wtc:, but all that changed when I got it to my house. I immediately jacked the rear end up and ripped the rear end out and gas tank and installed the 99's gas tank and rear end. I was having to drive around with AWD rear end with nothing attached to it. Well later I was on my way home from Atlanta and the FWD trans was making very loud and very weird sounds, I was like this trans has to come out NOW! With a lot of time and some wiring I got the manual AWD trans in with help from my Dad. All that means is that I converted my car to manual AWD pretty much my self, by the way I did it when I was only 19! Well another thing has gone wrong with my car the oil pump went out on the little 1.8l engine so I just recently rip it out and put the 2.2L engine in but with a twist. I slapped some DOHC 2.5RS heads on it to lower the compression ratio a bit, so I could slap my WRX turbo on. Well the swap is not done yet but it is close, so wish me luck.
