I got some parts replaced and following the operation I had excessive 'impact' sounds coming from what seemed like the repaired area at slow speeds over bumps. So after I finally got free time to bring it back in, Bob looked back over it for of course nothing, and after a while pulled it back around and the sound hasn't happened again since, supposedly from a loose transmission bolt. It seems a bit sketchy that that could have made the klunk sound it did, but the problem is gone nonetheless. I know some sketchy places could have said "yea you must have broken this which didn't make noise from the broken parts" or "you must have broken so and so since we worked on it, but new struts for 200 bucks". He also took me on a little 'test drive' in their 'bumpy area' (500 sq. ft. of grass) and did some talking/explaining. Basic stuff, but he could have gotten paid the same to do less. Oh, and if I took all the water Jill has offered me I could probably fix the Georgia drought problem
I'd like to second nsvwrx's comment. You guys rule. Also, Will, if you wanna take a spin in an 08 lemme know. It's got this thing called "midrange." I know, crazy right? Not a lot up top though. Kinda like my last girlfriend. OH!
haha yeah I walked around the lot and looked at the '08s, it made me a little sad.. especially the sedan, which is now just that.
