Hehe, When one of my best buddies flew in from D.C. and wanted to see Atlanta, that's the FIRST PLACE I TOOK HIM. When patrons tip the dancers there they tip out of pure pitty. It's not a real strip club, it's the "Gong Show" of strip clubs. (1970's TV reference), but it's a good low key place to hang out and drink cheap beer with friends. The Clairmont Lounge could be a great place to have a WRXATL meet, and for some nude picture taking by the art student. (thrown in for post relevancy)

Look everyone, she is trying to find someone to photograph for a school project. So far I have seen very few helpful replies. Most replies are either pointless or just poking fun, which I am sure are are both unnecessary and annoying from her point of view. Please be courteous to a fellow member and post only if you have something useful to say. Let's not let this board degrade to the level of some other boards out there.
You might want to try a mothering message board. My wife says that there are often mothers there interested in tasteful nudie shots. mamadrama comes to mind, but I never really remember any other boards of hers. Luck!
Going to real strip clubs and wasting cash for a cheap thrill isn't my cup of tea, but I will make an exception for the Clairmont since it's a pretty much an unintentional parody of a real joint. I will try to stop the thread hijacking here and at least contribute suggestions in my response. If you are looking for nudes to sketch for your anatomy or other art projects, you could try: 1) the Atlanta area craigslist http://atlanta.caigslist.org 2) creative loafing. 3) If you're in at school, don't they have bulletin boards you could post on. 4) possibly some bulletin boards in gyms or performing arts centers in more progressive areas of town. What's with assuming that all the members here go to strip clubs don't have any lady friends? (We were making light hearted comments here. I don't think anyone was trying to press your buttons.)
I helped my photography friends get people to sketch for class and this is exactly what we used. The best people were other art majors that they met through craigslist/local school forums or students from the gym. The gym folk wanted copies to post up (bragging rights?), but it made it easy to get backups since they told their friends who also wanted some shots done. Do you plan on posting them for review for the class and then getting rid of them or keeping them for your portfolio? Might be an issue for some people, especially if you are going to pull from the local student base. They caught the local trash man going and taking out tossed out photos from the art shoot.
