    however, I just need to practice launching. If only a couple people are going, then I may just goto Dallas 1/8 mile. Its kinda a long haul for us..

    10 bucks at the gate, race for free on friday night, i get off work at 3 so im planning on going out there around 5-6, learned my lesson from last weekend. get there early!

    I need to get my CRX to run in the 15's.... 16.1 is such a tease, HAHAHA.
    I guess not bad for a 1.6L motor w/ 100hp at the crank.
    Had fun last week. It was good to meet some of you out there.

    i have a digital camera does pretty good video and great audio, i have a couple of cards as long as ur slow ass car doesnt burn them up :rofl:

    ps do u have to wear a helmet out there? :eek3:

    uh, helmet for under 13sec at commerce. . . .what would that mean at an 8th? not sure.

    :evil: fuck as much as i want to go. my whipped ass has to got to dinner with my girlfriends new friend from work. :evil: maybe ill make later. damn i dont wanna give up free racing. now i get to go spend way more money than i woud have racing. :arrrrggggghhhhhh:

    For 1/8 mile, I think you would have to be in the 9s to need a helmet. It still doesn't make sense to me the whole Helmet thing. If on a 1/4 mile 13 seconds requires a helmet, you are most likely going to have a trap speed of around 95+, so they are saying that if you hit the wall you need a helmet. If you have a trap speed of 85, probably high 14s, you don't. So they are saying that if you hit a wall going 85 you are not in danger enough that you need a helmet.
